Salvage Sophistication

The idea of reusing, recycling, repurposing, restoring and reusing makes me happy.  Which brings me to Ilaria Venturini Fendi...she had the brilliant idea to take rejected virgin materials and give new life to them as one of a kind bags, accessories and pieces of furniture.  How brilliant is she?!  The items are not reconverted through industrial processes but instead reworked to become one of a kind Carmina Campus' covetable accessories.  In a world that's full of waste and excess, its a breath of fresh air (literally) to see textiles, metals, plastic and wood given a 2nd chance to live.  The days, salvage, is the new chic!
